Using a series of small injections, our nurse practitioners will first take a full medical history and assess your concerns. Due to the loss of collagen as we age, wrinkle and fine lines form on the forehead, around the eyes and around the mouth. Luckily, there are non-surgical and non-invasive injectable procedures to reverse this ageing.
Botulinum toxin is used to temporarily block nerve signals that cause the muscles contract. This leads to the relaxing of facial muscles that cause wrinkles on the skin. Wrinkles form due to the natural ageing process, however, other factors also influence their development. Sun exposure, stress and repeated facial expressions can cause more wrinkles to form.

Whilst there may be some minor discomfort experienced during treatment, the needles we use are very small.
